Regular verbs in Kannada adhere to a predictable conjugation pattern. To form the past tense, we add a specific suffix to the root form of the verb, which varies depending on the subject. Here are corrected examples:

Example 1: To eat (ತಿನ್ನು)[edit | edit source]

Kannada Pronunciation English
ತಿಂದೆನು Tindenu I ate
ತಿಂದೆ Tinde You (singular) ate
ತಿಂದ Tinda He/She ate
ತಿಂದೆವು Tindeve We ate
ತಿಂದಿರಿ Tindiri You (plural) ate
ತಿಂದರು Tindaru They ate
