Welcome to our complete 0 to A1 Icelandic course! This course is designed for those who are complete beginners and want to achieve a solid foundation in the Icelandic language. By the end of this course, you will be able to introduce yourself, ask and answer basic questions, and engage in simple conversations.

Throughout this course, we will cover the following topics:

1. Greetings and Introductions

  • Basic greetings, such as hello, goodbye, and thank you
  • Introducing yourself and others

2. Pronouns and Articles

  • Personal pronouns, including subject, object, and possessive pronouns
  • Definite and indefinite articles

3. Numbers and Time

  • Counting from 1 to 20
  • Telling time, including asking and providing information about the current time

4. Present Tense Verbs

  • Regular verb conjugation in the present tense
  • Common irregular verb conjugation in the present tense

5. Everyday Activities

  • Vocabulary related to daily routines and hobbies
  • Discussing interests and activities

6. Adjectives and Adverbs

  • Adjective agreement with gender, number, and case
  • Adverb formation and usage

7. Food and Dining

  • Vocabulary for fruits, vegetables, and meals
  • Dining out and ordering food and drinks

8. Questions and Negation

  • Using question words, such as who, what, where, when, why, and how
  • Forming negative sentences using "ekki"
