Here are the names of the days of the week in Galician:

Remember that in Galician, days of the week are not capitalized, unless they appear at the beginning of a sentence.

- Person 1: Que fai hoxe? (What are you doing today?)
- Person 2: Hoxe é mércores, así que hai clases. (Today is Wednesday, so there are classes.)
Interesting Facts[edit | edit source]
Did you know that in Galicia, there are festivities called "romerías" throughout the year? These celebrations usually take place on Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays. People gather in the countryside and eat, drink and dance traditional music. It's a great opportunity to experience the local culture and practice your Galician!
