Christmas truce is an unofficial truce mainly between British and German armies, on the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day of 1914.

This page can't be more detailed than the Wikipedia entry. But that page doesn't mention that

  1. In the video game Verdun, there is a time-limited DLC of christmas truce to buy every year, and the money is donated to War Child.
  2. In some warring areas of the world, parts of Ukraine and Philippines, opposite military forces agree to ceasefire on Christmas Day. But there are reports of violation of ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine.

If you also have a wish of peace, you can tell this to other people you know.

With this subject matter well understood, you might want to delve into these related topics: Difficulties of languages, Numeration Tutorial, FLOSS programs with Anki support & Natural phenomena.
