namaskaara: general greeting নমস্কাৰ
assalamu alaikum: Muslim greeting অস্সলামু অলযকুম
subrabhaata: morning greeting সুপ্ৰভাত 
subaraatri: nighttime greeting শুভৰাত্ৰী
aapuni kene aache: how are you? আপুনি কেনে আহে?
mai bhaale aachum: reply to আপুনি কেনে আহে ম‍ই ভালে আছোঁ
bhaale aachu dhanyabaad: reply to আপুনি কেনে আহে ভালে আছো ধন্যবাদ৷ 
swaagatam: welcome greeting to a visitor স্বাগতম
