Dear Frenchies, dear Frenchaises,
French Mondays - The New Apéro Art de Vivre ! will take place at legendary French owned Flute Midtown.
Please join us next Monday for our traditional French happy hour Apéro, where you can improve your French speaking skills, meet, greet, and network (and, reportedly, meet the French love of your life if you get that chance).
The word “apéro” is the name for both the ritual of going out for a pre-dinner drink, as well as the sort of drink that you would probably have at such a ritual. Invented by French people, of course.
On top of the Kirs Royal special for $10, we can also get fresh spring rolls for $10 (theyhave four kinds going from $12 to $15) : please mention French New York City (http://www.meetup.com/frenchies). Official language : Franglais. Strongly supported : Français (si possible en alexandrins).
So, join us now by RSVP : Bring whatever French you have, friends, and your business cards as the goal is to meet new members and catch up with our regular meetup family from Brooklyn and Manhattan. So, if you are a newcomer, no worries, all level of French are accepted. This is an event sponsored by Sensate (http://www.wesensate.com) and French New York City, expect[masked] people.
Flûte Bar & Lounge opened in midtown Manhattan in 1997, taking over the space that once operated as the notorious speakeasy, Club Intime. At Flûte Midtown, they take champagne out of the nightclub VIP room and bring it into the chic, intimate, comfortable setting of a New York lounge : French apéro art de vivre meets New York City happy hour, and the happy hours take much, much longer.
Flûte Bar & Lounge welcomes champagne lovers, as well as those simply looking for the ideal spot for drinks with friends, to bring a date, to toast a celebration or relax with colleagues. In addition to champagne and sparkling wine, we provide a full bar and a menu of our own specialty sparkling cocktails, as well as small plates.
