President Muhammadu Buhari has said Nigeria has no other option than to join countries across the world to fight climate change.

Buhari who is just back in the country had joined more than sixty Heads of State, governments, and representatives of non-governmental and private organisations at the One Planet Summit in Paris, the capital of France summit.

He had informed the audience that all the implications of climate change, such as erratic rainfall, erosion, and desertification among others, were evident in Nigeria.

The President had appealed to the international community to support his country’s commitment to reducing the negative effects of the climate change.
