رد على هذا التعليق...When i watched a video i understood what do you mean . In fact , as a native speaker we dont call them silent letters we call them vowel letters ا،و, ي
In general, we pronounce every letter but sometimes there are some rules relating to these vowel letters are written by grammarers . It is a little bit complex . I try to explain what i watched in a simple way .
    1- connecting hamza
In Arabic there are two kinds of Hamza which come at the beginning of the word that are connecting Hamza ”ا” or cutch hamza ”أ” . How can I differ between them if we add the letter و before the word and we pronounce the sound of ء in this case we write it أ like this و أخرج but if we don’t pronounce the sound ء in this case we write it as ا like this و استخرج .
To summarize, we write and pronounce the cutch hamza when we stop or continue our speech while we write it but we don’t pronounce it when we continue our speech.
    2- sun lam اللام الشمسية
There are two kinds of ل which are sun lam and moon lam in sun lam we don’t pronounce the lam”ل ” because it comes before these letters which is collected in a verse
    طِبْ ثُمَّ صِلْ رَحِمًا تَفُزْ صِفْ ذَا نِعَمْ
    دَعْ سُــــوءَ ظَــنٍّ زُرْ شَـرِيفًا للكَــرَمْ
‏on the other hand, we pronounce the lam”ل”
‏because it comes before these letters which is collected in a verse
    ‏ابغ حجك و خف عقيمة ‏
    3-the plural ” ا”
‏as in English we have rules about singluar and plural in simple present tense also
plural ” ا” to refer to the plural like
يعمل _ يعملوا ، يكتب_ يكتبوا
In this case we should not pronounce the ”ا”
The other words we just Keep them as they are without any rule
