You don't say "Be yourself" in Somali, instead we say "Qof kale ha iska dhigin or Qof kale haku dayanin" and that is mean "Don't pretend like someone else".

Thank you! I am really looking for a phrasing for a poster that will be used in a classroom. "Be Your Best Self" and it's translation should reflect something like one of these:
Be a good person
Make positive choices
Take responsibility for how you act
Show compassion and caring in your actions

    Make positive choices=Go'aan fiican qaado
    Take responsibility for how you act=Si mas'uulnimo ah u dhaqan
    Show compassion and caring in your actions=Si naxariis leh u dhaqan.
