I'm now learning Korean on my own, and here are some of the things I'm doing:
language app
I use Duolingo, but there are a plenty of other language learning free apps. Find the one that best fits your needs and your objectives by doing some research.
watch and listen to Kdramas
Just from watching dramas and listening to Kpop, I have mastered quite a few terms and phrases. But, you won't learn the basics by doing this, so I recommend mastering vowels, consonants, pronunciation, formalities, and informalities first.
Practice!!!
Every day I study from 6 to 9 o'clock. Without exceptions If you do not even put in the effort and only learn when you feel like it, you won't be successful.

best resources to LEARN KOREAN

I learned Hangul via YouTube videos, then after that, I begin using  How to Study Korean! AND TTMIK websites (Talk To Me In Korean) AND  to learn grammar and vocabulary.

Use the fluenttongue.com website. It is wonderful. It blends lessons with listening exercises. With real-life dialogues, cheat sheets, quizzes, downloadable flashcards, and native-recorded audio files, the free korean classes at fluenttongue.com help you learn the fundamentals of the language from scratch and make comprehending korean simple.
The listening exercise is amazing because it is pitched correctly. You won't get anything out of watching Korean movies or dramas if you are a complete beginner.
