Is it correct to say "Je suis a partir de Russie"?

It is not correct. Can you tell in english what do you want to say exactly ?

    Thank you for your reply. I wanted to say "I am from Russia" different way. That I live in Russia permenently. As I can assume, it is possible to say Je suis de Russie. But I wonder if there is another way to say the same

You can say ”Je viens de Russie”, ”Je suis originaire de Russie”

    Marianthi, thank you for your reply! I wanted to say: I am from Russia. Je pense, aucune de ces variantes. J'ai voulu dire que Je suis de Russie in another way
