why "game of thrones" not "game of throne"? there is only one throne:)

Actually there are several thrones but I guess in the end of the show there will be only one

There are seven kingdoms, seven thrones. Battles rage not only for the throne of Westeros, but for the thrones of the other regions as well. "Game of Throne" sounds wrong. It would have to be something like "Game for the Throne" if it were singular.
