The first step in this process is to correct errors when you make them when trying to use English.

Your sentence should be ”How to improve your English to become fluent like a native speaker?”

The single most important piece of advice I could give is to try to use English with somebody who has the ability to correct your mistakes in speaking and writing when you make errors.

Also, don't expect to "speak English like a native speaker" after only a year or two. It's possible to repeat words and sentences like a parrot after that time, but you are not really "speaking fluently" if you can't respond quickly to questions that are unexpected and unrehearsed.

Ummmm no spammer. Error correction doesn’t have to be done by stopping people in the middle of speaking at every single tiny mistake all the time. However, people should be informed that they are making mistakes - especially important basic mistakes - then shown the correct way to do it.

If you are not informed about errors soon after you make them then shown how to do it correctly, then these mistakes eventually become part of your ”natural” language usage and are ”fossilised”. Afterwards, such errors are extremely difficult to fix - even by people who teach properly and professionally.

The single most important thing that kills fluency is huge numbers of grammatical, pronunciation and other errors. Whoever is listening to or reading what you are trying to communicate has to put in a lot of effort to decipher and understand what you are saying.

I seriously hope that this spammer don’t speak like he/she writes. However, I suspect that he/she does.... Judging from his/her writing, this spammer is not really that fluent when he/she speaks given the huge number of mistakes made in such a short time - and that’s just basic grammatical errors. But I’m not going to offer this spammer corrections. I don’t believe in helping spammers.

Podcasts are at best a way of revising what you already know. Don’t try to initially learn speaking/listening exclusively from podcasts. You end up making huge numbers of mistakes, these mistakes are never corrected by someone who knows that these are errors and finally they become part of your ”natural” language - like the errors made by this spammer - and take far more effort to correct than to have learned properly initially.

Hi guys! I’ll recommend to listen to ”effortless English podcasts” by A.G Hoge. It’s been proven that error correction kills fluency. For more details, write me inbox.
