henceforth = from this or that time on
Examples:
1) We should henceforth take every opportunity to report = From this moment on, we should take every opportunity to report
2) The Working Party should henceforth meet annually = From that moment on, the Working Party should meet annually

Henceforth is used inorder to fix new objectives ,recommendations or decisions.
Example
You were disobedient , henceforth change that

Henceforth is nowadays a very formal way of saying ”From now on”.

Don’t try to use this word if you are speaking informally with your native-English-speaking friends (unless you really know what you are doing It will sound very strange because it tends to be presently used only by people such as lawyers.

You will see ”henceforth” being often used in Shakespeare and 19th century literature however.
