? False friends English and French ?

What are some of the most important ones you MUST know or else you will feel very embarrassed? 

 

For example : you should not say: 

  • "Je sens mauvais" (direct translation of "I feel bad") but "Je me sens mal". "Je sens mauvais" means "I smell bad" !

Don't translate "I am excited" par "je suis excité(e)" but rather "je suis ravi(e), je suis content(e)". Je suis excité = I am aroused. ?

There’s a lot but i’ll give you an exemple: i’m hot = je suis chaud Don’t say that in french especially if you are a girl ? but say « j’ai chaud »

There is also, "preservative" ("conservateur" in French), it is not "préservatif" in French which is condoms. ?
