Effectively both of those phrases are the same. I think "I can't stand it" sounds stronger. Additionally, a small nuance I would include is that "I can't stand it" is used for things that are more ongoing, like "I can't stand it when there is so much road construction." Whereas, "I can't take it," is for more immediate annoyances, like if there is a buzzing noise in the room so a person leaves the room and says, "I can't take it in there." It sounds weird to say "I can't take it when..." as I think that is when you should use "I can't stand it when..."

I think of them as having endured enough of something. I can’t stand to see you being treated that way. Or I’ve had enough, I can’t take it anymore. Both suggest a need for change
