Hello,

Interesting question!

in English, a very famous brand name can be used as a verb, like for Google : "just Google it" = "Just search for it using Google". It's just a shorter sentense.

It's the same here "Just FedEx it to Rome" = "Just send it to Rome using the FedEx express delivery service".

Those brands are so famous that they become part of the language! surprise

I hope this helps laugh

Think of it as slang. not really slang but just means did you mail it by a private courier. Fedex is a private mail service. A long time ago the name of the company was federal express but they changed their name to fedex because they are a private company and not affiliated with a federal government. The statement is not a proverb, just a marketing ploy that was used years ago. Another example was Xerox. Can you xerox it? it meant can you photo copy it. Xerox was a popular company that made copy machines, Fed Ex is a popular private company. like ems, ups, etc.
