Hi everyone, greetings from Colombia,

There is something that is bothering me right now, the thing is, I learned english a long time ago, and I'm actually fluent at it, but:
Since I learned alone just through music, reading and videogames, and I never took any formal classes, the thing is that a few days ago I start to realise that sometimes I make awful grammar mistakes (at least are awful to me) and also sometimes I don't have any clue which word should I add in the text  (e.g. I don't understand the diference between remember and remembers) and this is a bit of a problem since I struggle every time that I have to write things like formal letters, texts or even to write formal emails to people of the work.

Then I want to ask if any of you know some good Grammar Books that can recommend me to help me with my problem.

Thanks

Juan

Try books by Collins, Longman or Cambridge University Press.

I thought that Longman just had dictionaries how curious.... Hey thanks for the ideas, the Cambridge University Press have some really interesting specialized grammar books and I didn't thought about them before. I'll try to get some of those books ASAP, the trouble is that those books are quite hard to get here, and also quite expensive, and the Collins books unfortunately have the same issues. : (

At the time, I'm afraid that the first link is down, but the second links is quite interesting, I guess this could help me to do an overview of the basic grammatical rules. Thank you for your help.

Gracias, amigo pero ese libro claramente dice que esta enfocado para bachillerato.
Además del de bachillerato al parecer tienen 2 libros para ingles de trabajo y eso. los estube ojeando y pues no le veo utilidad para mi caso, pues esos libros se ve mas enfocado en dar vocabulario que en explicar reglas gramaticales.
Igual muchas gracias por la recomendación y saludos desde Colombia.
