Maybe you are right. I read this sentence in Harry Potter. It's a child book, so I can understand everything except when Hagrid talks. Can you give me some tips?

Are you sure the sentence is this? Or that it's english ?

Oh it is English, but as already indicated above, it's a "slang" expression that means, essentially, "it would be foolish of you to attempt to rob X."
