  • MY LAST VACATION

    • Last spring on Eid al-Adha I went to Belgrad forest in Istanbul.
  • I went with my friends but because I get up early, I went out by myself at 06:30.
    • Although I used Google maps to know which bus I had to get on, I got lost because I missed the stop that I must get off.
    • I missed the forest entry so I had to walk back along the forest fence, but fortunately there was a gap in fence so I entered from it.
    • I spent a beautiful day the weather was cloudy and the temperature was ideal.
  • I had a long walk and jog.
  • There was a hill that overlooks a lake.
    • It was a wonderful & peaceful view.
    • I sat down on a rock there, read a book & had a cup of coffee.
  • At 11 o’clock my friends arrived.
    • Behind the lake there was a dam, we sat down there & had a breakfast.
    • They brought various pastry like cheese, thyme & chicken, besides juices.
  • I got back home early because I hate the traffic in Istanbul.
    • I left the forest at 1 O’clock before the rush hour starts.
  • The journey takes three hours.
