Managing time
- Hey Javiera, How are you?
- I hope you are doing well.
- I hear you are having trouble managing your time with college and work.
- I know you are working a lot lately but make an effort and prioritize your studies.
- So, I’m going to give you some tips that have worked for me and I’m sure they will work for you as well.
- First, you will need to download a calendar from your computer.
- You can print it or simply use it digitally.
- There you will organize your day and your week to start.
- Second, make a list of your homework, exams and pending orders of your work.
- After you finish the list, distribute it proportionally on the calendar.
- Don’t leave too many tasks for the same day, it will stress you more.
- Some tasks should be completed before others, so prioritize them.
- To give yourself more time to study, set only a couple of days to deliver your orders.
- After setting your tasks, organize your time and set a time to do them.
- For example, in the morning I do my homework, after lunch I dedicate 30 minutes to 1 hour to study for the next exam.
- Don’t spend too many hours studying, you will lose concentration and become exhausted.
- Last but not least, remember to take at least one full day off.
- It is important that during the week you take a break from everything, do something that relaxes you and something you enjoy doing.
- This list worked for me, do it and you will see that it will work for you too.
- Don’t forget to do your best.
- I know you’re going to make it! Best regards!
