    • Notice: For my paragraphs below, I want corrections only from a native English speaker.
    • Many people think these days we have a lot of choices that were not available in the past.
    • I agree with this viewpoint.
  • For instance, when we compare our choices in the current time with the options that were existed in the fifties and sixties in the twentieth century, we notice the difference.
  • For example, in education, people now in many fields have the option to study on campus or taking their courses online, and this does not stop on the education, but extend to other sectors. We see the plethora of choices exposed clearly in COVID-19, in which millions of people did their work from home by using the internet.
  • So we could attribute the abundance of alternatives to the advancements in technology.
  • Imagine this epidemic spread in the world in the fifties in the last century; then the economy would paralyse due to the rare choices they need to use as alternatives to social distancing.
  • These choices are not exclusive to education and work but extend to other sectors such as tourism, which in the past if we need to meet people from other culture and talk to them you had to travel to their country.
  • In contrast , now we can meet people virtually from over the world by just clicking the bottoms on your computers or mobiles.
  • In summary, I definetly agree that nowadays we have choices that our ancestors did not have, to the extent that might confusion because of their abundance or similarity.
  • However, some people using these choices in a bad way, which many criminals used these options to distribute heroin to increase their wealth illegally.
