  • To prepare for my final exams I will use certain strategies.
  • First, I’m going to schedule a five-day study plan with 2 hour-sessions per day in a quiet and well-lit place.
    • I’m taking two courses this term, so I want to spend one hour a day on each of the courses.
    • During those study sessions, I’m going to review my notes and fill any gaps in my knowledge.
    • Second, I’m going to practice exams and reread my assignment paper and all handouts that we were given during the courses.
  • Third, at the time of taking those tests, I will read the directions carefully, and after a quick review of the questions, I will answer the questions that I know first and then go through more difficult ones.
  • Usually, I have test-taking anxiety long before an exam and at the time of it as well.
  • The obvious strategy to cope with test-taking anxiety is to be prepared.
  • As I have mentioned above, I’m going to do so through thorough everyday studies.
    • It was proven that physical activities, workouts, and simply, walk in s fresh air can help us to reduce stress level and increase our capabilities of memory retention.
    • Thus, my second strategy to reduce my stress anxiety is to go for at least one hour-long walks every day.
    • Also, I want to eat healthy and full of nutritious food which can help my brain to work better at the time of the exams.
  • Last but not the least, I will sleep well the night before the exams.
    • In case if I will have problems falling asleep and have the tension to stay up late cramming as I usually do, I probably will take a melatonin pill to help me to go to sleep.
