• Reggie is the one who fully responsible for his failure in the Course because of plagiarism.

• He was busy with the game since he is an athlete and he didn’t read a book that was assigned, instead, he rewrote with some changes a paper that he found on the internet.

• He might avoid plagiarism by reading a book fully and writing his own paper where he might use the paper that he rewrote as supportive material to his own ideas.

• The plagiarism would be fully avoided if Reggie has used lees than 10% of direct quotation in his paper and has properly cited the source in accordance with the citation style his instructor or college uses.

• Reggie plagiarized because he was busy with sports activities also looks like he was lazy as well as Arnie, the second student in the provided story, to whom the book was too difficult to read.

• To avoid inadvertent plagiarism I will keep the original sources or their hyperlinks on hand until I finish a paper.

• It will help me to not forget where I took ideas and evidence and do not forget to cite them.
