I’m Nastya and now I’m taking an English course, where we were given the task to write an essay on the topic “What would you do if you won or inherited 1.000.000. dollars?” and put it on the site for checking by native speakers.

So what do I do if I win $ 1,000,000?

First of all, I will put some of the money into the account to ensure a quiet old age for my parents.

For we all know the prices of medicines, doctors’ appointments and care.

Then I’ll buy an apartment for myself and my brother, so that I never bother about housing again.

Moreover, I do not strive for some kind of extraordinary luxury, no, the main thing is that they are in a good quiet area, with quality kindergartens and schools, with a good environment.

I would like our children to grow up in a slightly different world than we do.

So that we, in our turn, never feel poverty, hunger, unemployment, unlike our parents, who found these charms of the 90s.

Certainly, some of the money will be deposited in the accounts of different banks, some will be invested in stocks and securities.

I don’t know about others, but lately I have such troubles that when I receive a certain amount of money, I don’t want to waste it or spend it on whatever my heart desires, no, I want to keep it to the maximum, set aside so that there is always a reserve just in case.

Surely, a large amount of money will go to animal shelters and orphanages.

But here, of course, it is important that the funds go specifically to the needs of children and animals, and not to the pockets of the leadership.

It is important to help the defenseless, abandoned and devoted, those who cannot protect themselves.

I would gladly take all the children and animals for myself, but of course this is unrealistic.

Some of the money will go to proven charities and anti-violence foundations.

I believe that it is important to invest in such projects so that as many people as possible can survive and bring some of their warmth into this world, changing it for the better.

Who knows, what if that little girl who can be saved from cancer will later become a famous scientist, and the boy who is pulled out and the atmosphere of violence in the future will adopt the best and honest laws.

At the same time, I would like to invest in the fight for the ecology and preservation of the flora and fauna of our wonderful Earth.

I want to breathe clean air, never again to see news about forest fires that kill all living things, about poaching and the disappearance of another species of animals or plants.

I really want to make this world a better place, and, of course, I understand that financial assistance can look ridiculous, pretentious, for show, but in some issues, for example, health, money is the best support.

Yes, it is important to support people morally, but how far will we go with this support if we need an urgent operation that cannot be paid for with faith in the best.

You can’t help everyone, but if someone can be saved, it can be considered that life has not been lived in vain.

In general, the best thing for me would be the disappearance of violence, homophobia, nationalism, any oppression of other people.

I would be happy to live in a wonderful world of love, equality, respect of people for themselves and others.

So that politicians of all countries finally come to an agreement and there would never be more wars and terrorist acts.

Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved with the help of money, it depends only on the people themselves.
