  • From May 1st to 3rd, 2013 our team of 7 members received a training to volunteers in the sport ministry.
  • The International Sport Association “Dorozhe Zolota” was an organizer of a training conference for volunteers.
  • Teachers came from different cities and countries – Moscow, Sochi, St.
  • Petersburg, the Ukraine and the USA.
  • The first day we were taught how to work in a team.
  • That training was not only theoretical but we, volunteers, were divided into groups and undergone through different games phases to unify us in the teams and teach strategy.
  • Each game can teach children not only how to spend time merrily and usefully but the moral and spiritual values.
  • It was an interesting and joyful training.
  • The second day our team of volunteers played in the street those games which we would play the next day, thus reinforcing the received knowledge and keeping the principles of successful and united team.
  • We tried to explain to each other the moral and spiritual values after each game.
  • The third day at noon there got started games for children and family games for parents in the Pobeda park of Kazan.
  • All volunteers took their positions – some dressed like clowns played with little children, others played football with boys, taught how to play Frisbee, drew with children on the concrete, and taught how to shape balloons into different animals.
  • Then captains of the trained volunteers assembled for themselves teams of children between 5 and 12 years of age.
  • There were 3 children teams – “Adidas”, “Record”, “Arrow” and a parent team “Ooh”.
  • The opening of sport games was started with the Russian hymn followed by the appearance of president of the nonprofit organization “Dorozhe Zolota”.
  • Participants of the sport games had to give a name to their team, compose a motto, and then introduce their teams.
  • After greeting of teams the children had a warm-up to music.
  • Then the most interesting things took place – relay-races.
  • Grown-up people and children participated in the competitions.
  • The captains tried to encourage their teams – after each game they held a short discussion what kind of sense the last game was teaching of.
  • After sportive relay-races the awarding ceremony for the winner-teams got started; the winners were presented with cakes and the teams which took the 2nd, 3rd and 4th places got chocolates.
  • Everyone was happy – both children and their parents.
  • At the end our games were crowned with a little concert for all participants.
