During my third internship in psychiatry, I made a toilet assistant with schizophrenic patient, who didn't take my professionalism seriously because of my young age or my student status.

I didn’t reach to impose myself in front of she, because of my timidity.

I tried to know how does vocational training contribute to professional identity construction ?

To answer this question, I first became interested in personal identity and its construction according to ages in order to understand my reactions, this led me to the concept of professional identity and the elements allowing its development, leading to the elaboration of a posture.

In order to compare my research with the reality on the ground, I conducted three semi-directive interviews with 3 nurses who had completed different courses.

As a result, in training, professional identity is influenced by our personal identity, our values, our experiences, our motivations.

In the light of my current knowledge, I deduce that this identity depended only on me and can vary according to the ages.
