Okay, this will be my first Polyglot Club meeting, so please bear with me :)

 

The idea is to meet members of this web site who are living in my region, and those who might be on vacation here. This gathering will be as informal, casual, and laid back as legally allowed in a public space. 

 

Basically, come as you are, and talk about anything, in the language you choose! Bring your friends and relatives, siblings, sons and daughters, parents, neighbors, and everybody who might be interested in languages, travels, and cultures, or just want to meet people. 

 

If you have a laptop computer, feel free to bring it too, and connect to the Internet using the free WiFi access from the pub. We could talk about some features of this web site, how to use them in the most effective way, share some tips and tricks. Heck! We could even log into the Virtual Study Room, and talk with the people there if we get bored. Or turn your webcam on to show the great time we're having.

 

The Blue Lady Pub is provided with a terrace. We'll meet there for a drink, and we could also play a pool game on the free table.

 

Although business will hopefully be slow on a Saturday afternoon in summer, I will have to book tables. So please make sure you register for this event as soon as possible. Because, you know what? The more people already registered, the more will register! And if nobody registers, I might never try to set up this kind of meeting again. And you might miss the opportunity to meet your perfect language match, your greatest mentor, your next best friend, the love of your life, or all of the above.
