Asking for Directions

When traveling to a new place or city, it is common to ask for directions. Here are some useful phrases you can use when asking for directions in Icelandic:

  • Hvar er ... ? - Where is ...?
  • Hvernig kem ég á ... ? - How do I get to ...?
  • Gerðu svo vel og hjálpaðu mér að finna ... . - Can you please help me find ... ?
