Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be held at Curlers and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you enter, head upstairs, turn right, and you'll find us at the table in the far left corner by the window. Similarly, at Tennent's, just turn left as you enter from Byres Rd, and you'll spot us at one of the tables by the windows!

Frequently Asked Questions

What level is required to join?
The group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability is beneficial, but all are encouraged to participate!

If I can't make it at 7:00 PM sharp, is it a problem?
The group is very casual, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one's there yet, give it some time as people usually trickle in within 15-20 minutes!

What if only one person has signed up?
Don't worry if the event page shows low RSVPs. Typically, we have around 10-15 regular attendees, even if only a few have RSVPd.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, come join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but you can always count on meeting friendly people who will give you a warm welcome. Look for us at the top of the stairs where we'll be seated on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat in Spanish and English!

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure both languages get equal time and cover fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a special welcome to new members.
