Hello everyone! Starting Monday, May 8th, join us upstairs at Curlers on Mondays and at Tennent's on Thursdays!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you arrive, head upstairs, turn right, and look for us at the table in the far left corner by the window. At Tennent's, enter from Byres Rd, turn left, and join us at one of the tables by the windows!

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to participate?
Everyone is welcome, from beginners to native speakers. Some conversational ability is recommended to fully engage with the group!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
The group is casual, and we usually stay for a few hours, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person has RSVP'd?
Although the event page may show only a few RSVPs, we typically have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

If you're looking to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and occasionally none, but there will always be friendly people to welcome you. Find us at the top of the stairs sitting on the long benches. We're eager to meet you and chat in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure both languages receive equal time and engage in fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
