Which one is correct? I have been living here for 5 years. (or) I lived here for 5 years.

    The first one is correct. The second isn't a sentence I would ever use, I'd say "I lived there for 5 years". If you're still living there you'd say "I've been living here for 5 years". Definitely I don't think the second is grammatically correct but even if it were it makes no practical sense. Just my gut feeling hope it helps xo
