  • English Prepositions 2

    • Just as well this pyramid of prepositions works for places.
    • The largest part with "in" is for large spaces such us countries, states and regions.
    • For instance: in the United States, in Miami, in my neighbourhood.
    • The middle part of pyramid we use for something length such us streets and beaches: on Broadway Street, on the beach, on my street.
  • The part "at" is smallest and used for specific places.
    • For instance: at 345 broadway street, at the store, at my house.
  • I'd also like to write some information about the prepositions of places.
  • We use "on" when we speak about flat surfaces (on the floor, on the wall, on a page) and about public transport (on the plane, on a boat).
  • "In" is used for closed spaces, for example, in the kitchen, in the house, in the glass and also when we speak about personal transport and taxis (in the car, in the taxi).
