The maritime delimitation between Peru and Chile at last reached its ending.

The Haya's International Court decided to give part of the sea that was claimed by Peru from Chile.

The Peru's demand to The Haya began in 2008 while Alan Garcia was governing Peru.

By the time, the statement had already claimed to Chile directly about its sovereignty over the sea but Chile had never agreed with it, so Peru didn't have another way that raises its claim to The Haya.

Peru prepared a lot of information which showed that Peru had never done a specific treaty with Chile about maritime boundaries.

However, Chile said 'yes', and also said there weren't pending terms about that.

There were public audiences in The Haya since 2012 until the final decision was in 2014: The Haya crossed a limiting line on a map where gave 38,000km2 of the sea to Peru, but it was only sixty percent of its whole claim.

Peru and Chile are currently delimiting the physical boundaries of course the Haya's final decision.
