Each Saturday at 8:15pm the Polyglot Club will host a

FREE Team Trivia Game Night!

The trivia game will start promptly at 8:30pm but team organization will begin at 8:15pm. If you arrive late, you may not be able to play. Please please please, ARRIVE ON TIME OR EARLY to guarantee a spot to play. If you don't want to play, spectators and a supportive audience are always welcome!

The trivia game will be hosted in English and played in English. Teams of no more than 4-5 people will be organized at the start of the event (8:15pm to 8:30pm). If you don't have a team, don't worry, we will find you a team! Team members are encouraged to speak in any language they would like while playing, but must present their final answers in English. The game will be the popular American TV trivia show, Jeopardy! The winning team also wins a prize :)

English:

Each meeting is dedicated to language exchanges and conversations in French, English, Spanish, Russian, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish... and all languages. This will take place in the center of Paris (Denfert-Rochereau). You can practice your favorite languages with participants from around the world. We will give you a label with your name and the languages you know (or want to learn or know how to teach).

FREE ENTRY, 1 DRINK PURCHASE REQUIRED: Please, buy at least one BEVERAGE during the evening. Check the DRINK policy smiley. For every drink you order, the bar will pay the sum of 1.5 € to the Polyglot Club! For a reduction of 1.5 € per drink, you can JOIN the Polyglot Club. All information (BENEFITS, prices, and conditions) about the annual Polyglot club memberships can be found by asking each event's host/hostess. With this financial support, Polyglot Club will oganize more evenings and trips!

French:

Chaque rencontre est dédiée aux échanges linguistiques et aux conversations en français, anglais, espagnol, russe, allemand, italien, chinois, japonais, arabe, portugais, polonais ... et toutes les langues. Cette rencontre aura lieu dans le centre de Paris (Denfert-Rochereau). Vous pourrez pratiquer vos langues préférées avec des participants du monde entier. Nous vous remettrons une étiquette avec votre prénom et les langues que vous connaissez (que vous souhaitez apprendre ou que vous pouvez enseigner).

ENTREE GRATUITE, CONSOMMATION OBLIGATOIRE : SVP, achetez au moins une BOISSON pendant la soirée. Vérifier la DRINK policy smiley. Pour chaque boisson que vous commandez, le bar versera la somme de 1,5 € à Polyglot Club ! Pour avoir une réduction de 1,5€ par boisson, vous pouvez aussi ADHÉRER à Polyglot club. Toutes les informations (AVANTAGES, prix et conditions) sur l'adhésion annuelle Polyglot club. Grâce à ce soutien financier, Polyglot Club pourra organiser encore plus de soirées et voyages !

Polyglot Club vous encourage à ne PAS parler votre langue maternelle avec un autre membre qui partage la même langue maternelle. Exemple : ne parlez pas français avec un français si vous êtes français.

Hi there!

My name is Steph and I am an English instructor from the USA. I am new to Paris, France but I'm excited to live in this beautiful city and learn French.

I completed my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and have teaching experience in the United States, Hong Kong, and Bolivia. I love teaching as much as I love learning.

I especially enjoy discovering new cultures and sharing languages with people from all over the world; which makes the Polyglot Club a perfect fit for me.

I'm excited to get to know each of my students, practice English, and have a great time learning together!

I teach the Débutant English class on Tuesday's at 7pm, the American English Class (vocabulary practice) on Saturday's at 7pm, and I host the free Game Night on Saturday's at 8:15pm! See you at one of my classes soon!

Hello everyone! Just a reminder that we will be starting promptly at 8:30pm so please arrive BEFORE 8:30 to be able to play. We have limited space so it truly is a first come, first serve basis for the game. Realistically, we can host about 30-35 people. SO, arrive as early as 8:15pm to save your spot
