Welcome to the Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo!

Join us for an exciting language exchange event where you can practice your Spanish and English skills with native speakers. Experience a unique opportunity to engage in 10-minute conversations with different language partners throughout the two-hour session. Attending at least twice a week, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with a diverse group of native speakers, enhancing your language fluency in an enjoyable and interactive way.

At Spanglish, language learning becomes an enjoyable experience. The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in period, where you can meet fellow Spanglishers. Around half of the attendees are new, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll have 5 minutes to converse in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning a language!

The beauty of Spanglish is that there are no set topics to discuss. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to the best restaurants in town. It's the perfect opportunity to practice another language while hanging out in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

Who attends Spanglish? The event attracts study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and comfortable space to improve their conversation skills.

The cost of attending the event is AR$3000. However, you can also opt for the Spanglish package, which includes four events for AR$10500. Additionally, you have the chance to enjoy virtual language exchange events for free.

Simply head to the bar during the check-in time, where a Spanglish Staff member will register you!

►How does it work?

You will be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations during each two-hour session. By attending at least two times a week, for two hours each time, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers. There are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but Spanglish makes the journey enjoyable and fun. The event begins with a 40-minute check-in period, where you can get to know other Spanglishers. Similar to the initial check-in, you'll engage in conversations for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish, before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. As you continue to rotate, you'll find yourself having so much fun that you'll forget you're actually learning!
